DESCRIPTION:The Research Team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are hosting a series of celebration and awareness events throughout February\, flying the flag for Join Dementia Research\, handing out leaflets\, and giving everyone the opportunity to register their interest in Dementia Research.  Please come and show your support. \n \nFriday 7th  \nStorehouse Skegness Wellbeing Hub\, North Parade\, Skegness\, 10am – 12 pm \nTuesday 11th \nWaterside Shopping Centre\, High St\, Lincoln\, 9am – 4.30 pm \nWednesday 12th \nHealthwatch Lincolnshire Conference\, Bishop Grosseteste University\, 9am – 2.30 pm – ticket only. SUMMARY:SUDEP Action Day
DESCRIPTION:The MHDLDA Team have been working closely with the charity SUDEP (Sudden unexpected death in epilepsy). Our hope is that the SUDEP Action checklist will be rolled out into GP practices in Lincolnshire by April 2025.  \nWe are planning an all-day event at the New Life Centre in Sleaford on Monday 10th February 2025. The event is for health professionals across the systems and GPs. We would like as many people to attend as possible\, so that we can spread the word and get these checklists into practices\, so we can avoid any unexpected deaths. \nMonthly Epilepsy task and finish groups will be producing ideas for the event\, including breakout rooms and speakers.
