DESCRIPTION:We are hosting the final of our pregnancy\, birth & beyond ‘What matters to you?’ roadshow events in Grantham on 23rd February.\n \nJoin us to share your views and meet with services available to you! \nThe aim of the events is to bring together a whole host of services who may play a role in supporting families through pre-conception\, pregnancy\, birth & beyond and invite families along to meet with services and discover more about the support available to them. We have already hosted events in Skegness\, Boston\, Gainsborough and Lincoln and families have been able to meet with and get information and advice from; \n\nmidwifery teams\ninfant feeding specialist\nperinatal mental health teams\nbirth pool hire staff\nSTAAR team/One You Lincolnshire\n0-19 services\nWellbeing Lincs\nChildren’s Centre staff\nand more…\n\nWe also offer families who attend free refreshments (tea/coffee & cake) and there are free packed lunches for children who attend as well as face painting or balloon modelling.  There is also a community food stall where families are able to help themselves to some essentials and a ‘reuse and recycle’ children’s clothing stall where families are able to help themselves to children’s clothes.

An opportunity for families to talk to professionals in maternity and other support services about what matters to them. \n\n\nWe invite all parents\, parents to be\, carers and grandparents to join us for our ‘What Matters to You’ event at Park Springs Community Centre in Gainsborough Thursday 15 June\, 10am to 3pm. Where you will have the chance to have all your questions answered about planning a pregnancy\, during pregnancy\, birth and beyond. \n\n\nThe Lincolnshire Maternity and Neonatal Services (also known as the Better Births Team) are hosting an open day for families to meet professionals from over 20 services including children’s services\, midwifery\, health visitors\, stop smoking services\, the water birth team\, financial support services and many more to help you get the extra support and advice you need. \n\n\nThere will be stands with leaflets\, free resources\, and books for children to take away. Along with a food and clothes bank and lots of fun activities for the children to take part in including face painting and a children’s play corner. \n\n\nMost importantly\, those attending will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences on their pregnancy – what went well\, what could be improved\, and what is missing? \n\n\nWe are asking these questions because we understand that the pregnancy journey is an important part of life and we want to make sure that all mums\, mums-to-be\, receive the best care and the healthiest outcomes. \n\n\nThe open day is running from 10am to 3pm at the Park Springs Community Centre\, Riseholme Road\, Gainsborough on Thursday 15 June. There will be free refreshments for the adults and free lunches for children. We look forward to seeing you there!
