All children aged 12 to 15 can get a 1st and 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Most children can get a 2nd dose from 12 weeks after they had their 1st dose.
Some children aged 12 to 15, can also get a booster dose.
People aged 12 and over who had a severely weakened immune system when they had their first 2 doses, will be offered a 3rd dose and a booster (4th dose).
People aged 12 and over who have a weakened immune system, will be offered a spring booster.

People aged 18 and over need to wait 4 weeks. Most young people aged 5 to 17 years old need to wait 12 weeks. If you or your child are aged 5 to 17 years old and at high risk from COVID-19, or live with someone who has a weakened immune system, need to wait 4 weeks.
If you or your child have symptoms of COVID-19, but have not had a test, you should wait until your symptoms are better before you get the vaccine. You can talk to a healthcare professional at the vaccination site about this.
