Experiences of Care

What we set out to achieve

We want to understand what is working well and what requires improvements for individuals and groups across all communities when using NHS services in Lincolnshire.

What we did

The Experiences of Care engagement survey was launched in June 2022 and continues to run.

We continually promote this on-line survey through our website, social media, the ICB Involvement Bulletin “The Contributor” and at face-to-face events.

Key findings

Data and findings are analysed on a monthly basis.

Throughout 2025/26, we received a total of 142 responses.

Feedback has been across a range of topic areas including:

  • Primary care
  • Secondary care
  • Palliative and End of Life Care.
  • Ambulance services
  • NHS 111
  • Autism
  • Community Diagnostic Centres
  • Carers
  • Care homes
  • Dentistry
  • Screening services
  • Mental health services
  • Pain management

The difference it’s made

The findings are reported through the Lincolnshire Voice Report which is presented on a quarterly basis to the Lincolnshire ICB System Quality Committee.

Feedback that has been received is considered alongside other quality and patient experience information and when triangulated is a useful early indicator of quality concerns.

Feedback has also been used to help shape and inform other programmes of work eg, primary care concerns within a specific area.

What’s next?

We will continue to keep the survey live and continue to promote to understand individuals experiences.
