Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccinations in Lincolnshire

COVID-19 vaccination appointments will start from Monday 13 April 2026.

You can book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment online or in the NHS App now. You may be able to get vaccinated at:

  • a local service, such as a community pharmacy or your GP surgery (if opted into the programme)
  • your care home (if you live in a care home)

The COVID-19 vaccine helps protect against COVID-19, which can be a serious or life-threatening illness for some people. It’s usually offered on the NHS in spring and early winter to people who need extra protection from COVID-19.

The COVID-19 vaccines are offered because viruses change and protection fades over time. It’s important to top up your protection if you’re eligible

Who should have the COVID-19 vaccine

You can get the spring COVID-19 vaccine if you:

  • are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 30 June 2026)
  • are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
  • live in a care home for older adults

Speak to your local pharmacy, GP surgery or specialist if you’re not sure if you’re eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 vaccine – NHS.

You do not need to wait for an invitation before booking an appointment.

COVID-19 Vaccine Fraud

Criminals are using the COVID-19 vaccine as a way to target the public by tricking them to hand over cash or financial details. They are sending convincing-looking text messages letting people know they are eligible for the vaccine or phoning people directly pretending to be from the NHS, or local pharmacy.

People are warned to be alert to these scams:

  • The NHS will:
  • NEVER ask for payment – the vaccine is free
  • NEVER ask for your bank details
  • NEVER arrive unannounced at your home to administer the vaccine
  • NEVER ask you to prove your identity by sending copies of personal documents such as your passport

Please see this poster guide – Poster: be alert to vaccine fraud.pdf (publishing.service.gov.uk).
