Celebrating Patient Participation Group (PPG) Awareness Week 2025!
We’re new and accepting new members
Washingborough Family Practice PPG is fairly new, being formed in March 2024 following a call put out by the surgery. We currently have just five members plus one (sometimes two) from the practice.
We hope to increase our numbers and we would especially welcome some younger members.
Activities and events
Like most PPGs we usually meet once a month to discuss anything related to the surgery and the patients’ experience.
We have hosted Carers’ coffee mornings, and invited organisations to attend to give health information, advice and support.
Also, staff attended from the surgery offering health checks, including blood pressure checks, NHS App information and general advice.
Working together

We appreciate the support from Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board who have attended our meetings, shared updates and staff training.
We also take part in the county-wide Patient Council, West Locality PPG Meeting and Digital Co-production group, which are helpful for sharing experiences and best practice.
During PPG Awareness Week one of our members is taking part in a podcast being done by Lincolnshire’s ‘It’s All About People‘ programme, highlighting the work done by PPGs.
