We’re proud to celebrate the amazing achievement of Parkside Medical Centre’s Lisa Baldwin who has won the “Best Innovative Use of SystmOne Award” in the GP Excellence Awards.

This award represents the well-deserved recognition for Lisa’s work on building the cancer care team and the SystmOne package, transforming cancer pathways across the network.

Parkside Medical Centre created an automated SystmOne safety-netting system that spans screening, testing, referrals and follow-up. By using protocols, eWorkflows, reporting tools, templates, and digital communications the approach from the team has:

• Improved early cancer detection
• Increased screening uptake
• Reduced missed referrals
• Standardised care across Boston PCN
