On 5th July 2025 we commemorate 77 years of our beloved NHS. It is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements our healthcare system has made in Lincolnshire in that time.
Thank you to our NHS staff, carers and their families
It is also an opportunity to thank the many NHS staff, carers and their families who work in and support residents and health and care services within Lincolnshire.
Support from our local partners, amazing volunteers and local residents
Our successes wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our local partners who play an important part in the delivery of health and social care across the county and the many volunteers who work tirelessly to support the NHS and we would like to thank you all for your continued support.
Engaging with our local communities
I want to thank you, our residents, for making our local NHS what it is today. Through our engagement activities many of you get involved with the discussions and debate about our priorities and future direction.
It is important we continue to engage with our residents particularly with the changes that are happening within the NHS currently.
I would like to assure everyone that we remain committed to improving health, making it easier to get care and reducing the inequalities faced by residents in Lincolnshire.
10 Year Health Plan for England: fit for the future
As ever the NHS is continually evolving and that is now even more at the forefront with the changes to how health services are planned to be delivered as well as the publication of the 10-year plan for the NHS.
However, I am sure that everyone within the NHS will continue to deliver the highest quality patient care for all of the residents of Lincolnshire.
You can read the plan at 10 Year Health Plan for England: fit for the future – GOV.UK.
Happy 77th birthday NHS and here’s to the next milestone.
