There is now just one week left for eligible people to get a Covid-19 vaccination, before the current campaign ends on 17th June 2025.

Since its launch on 1st April, more than 70,000 people in Lincolnshire have come forward for their Covid-19 vaccination, with 700,000 vaccinations given across the Midlands in the same time period.
“We’re pleased with the response to this latest Covid-19 vaccination campaign and that so many people have come forward for their vaccinations. There seems to still be awareness around why it’s important to get vaccinated, particularly on the part of Lincolnshire people,” comments Steve Clapton, Head of Immunisation and Screening, NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board.
Since the 1st April, the NHS in Lincolnshire has rolled out the Covid-19 campaign across the county, with fantastic support from GP practices, community pharmacies and its own central vaccination team, all of whom have played a key role in making the vaccination available to anyone eligible who wants it.
Just one week to to go!
“With just one week to go, it’s important to keep in mind the key benefit of getting vaccinated, which is topping up your protection against becoming seriously ill as a result of having Covid-19,” adds Steve. “The groups of people eligible as part of this latest vaccination campaign are those most likely to become seriously ill due to Covid-19, so if you are in one of these groups but not yet had your vaccination, please make an appointment as soon as possible.”
A reminder of who is eligible
As a reminder, if you are in one of the groups below you are eligible for a Covid-19 vaccination:
- Adults aged 75 years and over (if you are 74 but turn 75 years old by 17 June 2025, you don’t have to wait for your birthday to come forward)
- Residents in a care home for older adults
- Individuals aged 6 months and over who have a weakened immune system

Please note – after 16th June 2025, you cannot book a spring Covid-19 vaccine using the National Booking System or by calling 119.
