Monday 23rd June – 09:30-10:30am | Neurodiversity
This session, suitable for professionals, parents, and carers, aims to develop an understanding of neurodiversity and how to communicate effectively and put reasonable adjustments in place where needed. The session will cover:
- What can cause communication difficulties?
- Neurodiversity
- Attachment issues
- Trauma
- Learnt behaviour
- Acquired brain injury
- Developmental issues
- Hearing loss
- Lack of exposure to spoken language
- ACEs Adverse Childhood Experiences

Monday 23rd June – 1:30-2:30pm | Racial Bias
Ed Clayton, Social Worker Practice Advisor and Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Lead at Lincolnshire County Council (LCC), will present an interactive session discussing the Anti-Racist work they have been doing at LCC, why this work is so important, and some thoughts about how as practitioners and people we can enhance our understanding of the needs, identities, and challenges faced by communities and individuals across Lincolnshire.

Monday 23rd June – 6:30-7:30pm | Talking to your child about sexual health and HIV
Alice Solari from Positive Health (Lincolnshire) will be joining us to discuss how to talk to your child about sexual health and HIV. The session is suitable for adults – both for professionals, and parents/carers.
Alice will cover who Positive Health (Lincolnshire) are and talk about how you can encourage your young people to keep themselves safe. She will also talk through different areas of sexual health, focusing on consent and a variety of STIs (including HIV).

Tuesday 24th June – 09:30-10:30am | LGBTQ+ Support
This session, suitable for both professionals and parents, will focus on how to effectively support children within the LGBTQ+ community.

Tuesday 24th June – 1:30-2:30pm | County Lines
For Professionals only
PC Steve Ellis, County Lines Development Officer for Lincolnshire in the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, will be presenting this webinar for partners/professionals around County Lines, including spotting the signs of exploitation, reporting mechanisms, and support. He will also discuss the current situation and local context of County Lines in Lincolnshire.

Tuesday 24th June – 6:30-7:30pm | Child Exploitation
This webinar, presented by Lucy Brown, Child Exploitation and Missing Co-ordinator in the Future4Me Hub at Lincolnshire County Council’s Children’s Services, is aimed primarily at parents and carers, to provide support in identifying child exploitation, through to covering the processes in place to support disruption and to ensure the safety of children – with a focus of parents being key stakeholders in this process.

Wednesday 25th June – 09:30-10:30am | Artificial Intelligence Generated Child Sexual Abuse Materials

This session will focus on what is AI generated Child Sexual Abuse Materials, why this is a growing issue, and how professionals can build awareness of the topic.

The session will explain what Trauma Informed Practice is and ways that professionals can incorporate this into their practice with children.

Wednesday 25th June – 6:30-7:30pm | Misogyny and Online Harm
The Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Partnership and Lincolnshire County Council’s Stay Safe Team will be delivering this FREE webinar for parents and carers around misogyny and online harm.
During the session they will take a detailed look at:
- What misogyny is and where is it seen?
- The impact misogyny has on young people in Lincolnshire.
- How positive masculinity can help support young men and address violence against women and girls.
- How parents and carers can support young people both online and offline with misogyny.

Thursday 26th June – 09:30-10:30am | Managing children’s anxiety and supporting self-esteem
Within this session, Tom Elmer, Training Lead for Healthy Minds Lincolnshire and Mental Health Support Teams (Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust), will be taking a look what anxiety and low self-esteem can look like in young people, what’s going on in the brain and body when a young person is experiencing anxiety or low self- esteem, what we can do to support young people, and thinking about relevant resources and services who can help.
This session is suitable for both parents/carers and professionals.

Thursday 26th June – 1:30-2:30pm | Children as victims of Domestic Abuse
This webinar, for both families and professionals, will discuss children as victims of Domestic Abuse, and will be presented by Lu Webb from the Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Specialist Service (LDASS).
The session will cover:
- The impact of Domestic abuse on children and young people
- How to help children and Young people to recover from domestic abuse

Thursday 26th June – 6:30-7:30pm | Neglect
For Professionals only
This workshop will focus on the thematic review undertaken for the national safeguarding panel and provide an overview of what we now know about how best to identify and respond to the neglect of all children.
In the Neglect Toolkit launch sessions during December last year, professionals identified that the area of neglect through lack of love and affection was where they had the most difficulty.
Jane Wiffin, Child Safeguarding Practice Review (CSPR) author and Practice Improvement Advisor for the Centre of Expertise on CSA, will present this session and focus on the area of neglect due to lack of love and affection, and how professionals can identify this.

Friday 27th June – 09:30-10:30am | Transitions to adulthood
Gabby Wright from The Network – Lincoln will be discussing transitions to adulthood.
Gabby will talk about The Network, and their support with the transition into and through early adulthood, as well as exploring the role that community, connection, and work have to play in safeguarding and prevention.
This session is appropriate for both professionals and families.

Friday 27th June – 1:30-2:30pm | Misuse of drugs and alcohol – survivors’ stories
Personal stories of those who have experienced misuse of drugs and alcohol, and how they overcame this. The session will focus on how professionals and families supported their journey.
