Help shape women’s health services in Lincolnshire

In August 2022, a national strategy was launched by the government to help tackle the differences in health care that women receive -this is called the Women’s Health Strategy for England.

The Women’s Health Strategy will concentrate on women’s health throughout their life. This approach differs from a disease-oriented approach that targets a single condition at a specific life stage. Instead, it focusses on understanding the ever-changing health and care requirements of women and girls over time. Further information can be found in the full strategy at Women’s Health Strategy for England – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).

We want to start shaping what this national strategy needs to look like for Lincolnshire and what we can do locally to improve healthcare received by women in our county – we would really welcome your input in this and would like you to share your views and experiences.
