LVET, working with Lincolnshire Community Foundation, are delighted to launch the Health, Social Care and Wellbeing Research Fund on behalf of the Research Engagement Network Steering Group! This initiative aims to empower community organisations and individuals by providing small grant funds to make a difference.
This fund aims to address a health, social care or wellbeing topic that impacts the local community, such as loneliness or isolation, access to a health service or tackle a specific condition such as dementia or diabetes.
Research is simply looking at something in more detail to understand it better, and there’s no need to be a professional researcher as mentor support will be available. If you have an idea and not sure how to make it happen, do get in touch and we can talk you through it.
Key details:
- Total Fund: £50,000
- Maximum Grant: £5,000 (smaller amounts welcomed!)
- Closing date: Monday 13th January 2025 at 12pm
- Community Need: Projects must be based on a need within the local community
- Community Led: Projects must be led by individuals or organisations within the local
community - Community Benefit: Projects must aim to have a positive impact on the health, care or
wellbeing of the local community.
Additionally, we’re seeking panel members to help review applications and guide the selection process. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to the community and ensure the most impactful and relevant projects receive support! Visit Lincolnshire’s Research Engagement Network – VET and complete an expression of interest form today.
This is a great opportunity for local groups to make a real difference in their communities! Apply now and help shape the future of health, social care and wellbeing in Lincolnshire!
