A partnership between the NHS in Lincolnshire and DMC Healthcare has again been shortlisted for two prestigious national awards at the 2025 HSJ Awards, following their wins earlier this year in March.
The partnership made up of NHS Lincolnshire ICB, United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, the Lincolnshire Elective Activity Coordination Hub, and DMC Healthcare has been shortlisted in the Independent Healthcare Provider of the year and Partnership of the Year categories.

Building on the success of partnership working
This builds on the success earlier in the year where the partnership was a winner in two of the HSJ award categories.
This year the partnership has been shortlisted in the HSJ Partnership Awards and the HSJ Independent Healthcare Providers Awards in the categories of Best Elective Care Recovery Initiative and Best Insourcing Initiative by an Independent Healthcare Provider.
Both the current and previous entries further recognise the same collaborative project aimed at tackling and reducing the dermatology patient waiting list following the COVID-19 pandemic.
The awards attracted over a total of 1,250 entries which were then evaluated and produced a shortlist of 246 projects or individuals which highlight the dedication and innovation driving improvements in patient care.
A few words from our partnership leaders
Clair Raybould, Chief Executive, NHS Lincolnshire ICB said:
“To be shortlisted twice for the second year running for two HSJ awards is a significant achievement and reflects the close working within our Lincolnshire system and with our partners DMC Healthcare. We are always looking at how we can improve our services across Lincolnshire and being shortlisted again is testament to that.
“I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the people who contributed to this, we look forward to hearing the results later in the year. Good luck to everyone involved.”
Dr Neill Hepburn, Clinical Lead at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, said:
“I am extremely proud of the team for their work that has led them to being shortlisted. They have worked incredibly hard and are a wonderful team who work together to make sure we are providing the best patient service and experience. Being shortlisted means a lot to us all.”
Pritika Gupta, Chief Operating Officer at DMC Healthcare, said:
“This shortlisting means a great deal to us at DMC Healthcare. It reflects the strength of our collaboration with NHS Lincolnshire ICB, United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust and the Elective Activity Coordination Hub. Together we have delivered real and lasting change for patients.
“The dermatology waiting list in Lincolnshire is now just 11 weeks, meaning people are being seen, getting answers and starting treatment much sooner. Behind every number is a patient whose care and experience has improved, and that is what makes this recognition so meaningful.
“It is a privilege to contribute, even in a small way, to a legacy of care that improves lives, and I am delighted that the HSJ Awards have recognised the impact of this work. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and grateful to play even a small part in something that’s making a real difference.”
