Raising awareness of our Macmillan Support Centres

Raising awareness of our Macmillan Support Centres

Across Lincolnshire we have three Macmillan Support Centres offering support to those living or have been affected cancer – whether directly as a patient, a family member, friend or carer.

We knew that these centres were not fully utilised and people only knew about them if they were in hospital for treatment.

The Living With Cancer team wanted to raise awareness of the centres so a campaign has been developed and funded by Macmillan.  The campaign is county-wide and includes bus advertising, radio advertisement, posters and paid for social media.

Our centres are located at:

  • Lincoln County Hospital Outpatient Department
  • Pilgrim Hospital, Boston Main Reception
  • Grantham and District Hospital Outpatient Department

For more information, please visit https://www.ulh.nhs.uk/services/macmillan or call 01522 573799.

The campaign is currently on-going and any increase will be monitored by the Macmillan Centres.
