Refurbishment work completed at Nettleham GP Practice, supported by developer contributions

Patients and staff at Nettleham GP Practice are now benefiting from significantly improved facilities following the successful completion of a three-month refurbishment programme.

The improvements have been supported through developer contributions secured via local planning agreements, enabling investment in primary care infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing community.

The building works have transformed the practice environment, delivering seven fully refurbished consulting rooms, two additional consulting rooms, and a modernised waiting area designed to improve both patient experience and clinical capacity.

These enhancements will support the practice in continuing to provide high-quality care while increasing its ability to respond to rising demand for appointments.

NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board worked closely with partners, including West Lindsey District Council, to enable the scheme and ensure funding was used to deliver tangible improvements for local patients.

Caroline Goulding, Director of Strategic and Specialised Commissioning at NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board said:
“This is a great example of how we are working with partners to invest in local GP services and ensure they are fit for the future. By using developer contributions in this way, we can directly support practices to expand their capacity and improve the environment for both patients and staff.”

Cllr Emma Bailey, Chair of the Prosperous Communities Committee at West Lindsey District Council welcomed the improvement work. She said:

“We are pleased to see these improvements delivered at Nettleham GP Practice using developer contributions secured through the planning process. This investment helps ensure that local infrastructure keeps pace with housing growth and that communities continue to have access to high-quality healthcare facilities.”

Jack Favell, Director at Hybrid Hybrid Building Ltd said:
“As a Nettleham-based company, we’re especially proud to have delivered this project for our local community. Working closely with the practice and partners, we’ve created a modern, high-quality clinical environment that will support patients and staff for years to come.”

Helen Lunn, Practice Manager at Nettleham Medical Practice said:
“We are absolutely delighted with the final appearance of the refurbished and additional consulting rooms, as well as the updated waiting area. These improvements will make a real difference to both patients and staff, and we are grateful for everyone’s patience while the work was carried out.”

The practice would like to thank patients for their continued support and understanding during the refurbishment period.
