Spring Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign launches

Immunity from earlier vaccines is starting to fade. To boost protection, the NHS is offering a free Covid-19 vaccination again this spring.

Eligibility is the same as spring 2024, with one addition—more immunocompromised people in younger groups are now included:

  • Adults aged 75 and over (if you’re 74 but turn 75 by 17 June 2025, you don’t have to wait)
  • Residents in care homes for older adults
  • People aged 6 months and over with weakened immune systems

“These groups are most at risk of serious illness, so we’re offering them the spring vaccine,” says Karen Goy, Lead Nurse for Quality and Risk – Vaccination Programme, NHS Lincolnshire ICB.

“The vaccine has saved lives, reduced hospital admissions, and helped us live with the virus. If you’re eligible, I strongly encourage you to get vaccinated.”
