Clair Raybould, Executive Director for System Delivery and Women’s Health Champion, NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board, said:
“The menopause can be a period of significant change, not only physically with symptoms such as hot flushes, brain fog, and muscle aches, but also emotionally with changes such as experiencing low mood, anxiety, and irritability. Women in Lincolnshire have told us they want to take charge of their wellbeing but need support. We hope that by offering this workshop it is a step in the development of that support.
“Dr Kangeyan is our local lead on menopause and will outline what can be expected when entering the menopause. I would urge anyone interested to sign up to these free workshops.”
The workshops are open to everybody living in Lincolnshire; regardless of gender, pre, during or post menopause.
You can join anonymously, no camera or microphone is required. You can add any questions or comments in the chat, which will be answered by Dr Kangeyan during the workshop.
To join the workshop, you will need access to an internet enabled device. Please note that, although the workshop will take place on Microsoft Teams, you do not need to set up an account in order to join the workshop.
