“Love Your Heart” for residents in the Pinchbeck and the surrounding area will be the theme of an upcoming free event organised by the Patient Participation Group, Spalding Primary Care Network (PCN), the South Lincs Rural PCN, Pinchbeck Hub and Neighbourhood Working South Lincolnshire.

The event will happen for one day only on Thursday, 19th September 2024 from 10am – 3pm at the Pinchbeck Community Hub (48 Knight Street, Pinchbeck, PE11 3RU).

Come and meet local services who can support residents with their physical health, as well as support the social and mental wellbeing in the local community.

This includes free taster sessions for exercise/activities and health checks: blood pressure, pulse, weight and oxygen levels.

The event will highlight the various health and care services available to the public in the Pinchbeck area. Collectively, they will come together to show how they can support residents and their heart health.

Dr. Khan, Clinical Director for Spalding PCN and GP at Beechfield Medical Centre said, “everyone attending aspires to deliver an exemplary standard of care to our residents, clients, and patients.”

Clive Green, Chair of the Patient Participation Group (PPG) for Beechfield Medical Centre added “the event will highlight the services available and uncover opportunities that enable Integrated Neighbourhood Working and allow this to become the common practice for how we can support the people living in the Spalding area.”

James Avery, Pinchbeck Parish Council Chair said, “we are delighted to be working with the NHS, South Holland District Council, Lincolnshire County Council and voluntary organisations to host this event and to help raise awareness of local services and activities to help people, who live in and around Pinchbeck, to stay healthy.”
