‘What matters to you?’ Better Births Lincolnshire | 11th October, 10am – 4pm

A roadshow for mums or mums to be, their families, or professionals working in this field.
What is the event?
it is a drop in event taking place on Tuesday 11th October 2022 from 10am to 4pm at The Storehouse, North Parade, Skegness PE25 1BY and guests will receive a warm welcome, information and goodie bags. They will be invited to take a tour giving them an overview of the pregnancy journey and gather information about caring for their baby, themselves and their family. There will be opportunity to talk with midwives and other health service professionals. Free entry, no pre booking is required.
What and why are we asking?
We will be asking – What matters to you? a simple question which has a huge impact on the services that the team in the Lincolnshire Maternity and Neonatal system provide.
We want to listen and understand what matters to mums, mums to be and the professionals that support them. We want to ensure that care is safe and personal to all and that all mothers and babies achieve the best health outcomes.
What are the benefits to those attending?
This is warm, welcoming family event with free refreshments and a lunch for children, along with fun activities to engage in. There will be a food and clothes larders as well to support those in need.
Whilst at the event they get to share their thoughts on their pregnancy journey – what went well, what could be improved and what is missing? They will also leave with information and advice from services they can access for help and support throughout their pregnancy journey.
