Accessing GP Services – Digital health in Primary Care Webinar

Across the county of Lincolnshire, there are over 800,000 people registered for healthcare services with their local GP practice.

Of those 800,000 people, only 10% of those are registered for online services with their practices.

Supported and funded by the NHS Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group, HWLincs have put together an informative webinar with the assistance of three local doctors to provide information for Lincolnshire patients about the digital services available to them, and how they can support their surgeries to gain the most effective access.

Top Tips for you:

  • Please review your consent with your GP Surgery
  • Learn about your surgery / understand ‘Who’s Who’
  • Avoid the hotspots on the phones to ease access, contact between 1130am – 3pm for non-urgent issues
  • Ask your hospital specialist for their contact details to avoid unnecessary questions for your practice
  • Consider other services available to you i.e. pharmacists, mental health support lines
  • Get involved with your Patient Participation Group to have your say
  • Look after yourself, to avoid needing assistance from your practice.
