Here is your chance to hear local research and innovation stories from the people who have took part in them. We are very keen to grow and use research and innovation to improve the services that are delivered in our county.

Dan has severe allergies to existing antibiotics. Dan was therefore involved in a clinical trial to look for new drugs to work as antibiotics.
John has undergone treatment for oesophageal cancer and prostate cancer. He has been involved in cancer research through the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) and the United Kingdom and Ireland Oesophagogastric Cancer Group (UKIOG).
Naetha is the Founder and CEO of Recovery Coach Academy, an organisation that promotes and supports recovery from substance use and other addictions. Recovery Coach Academy are currently involved in a research project with the University of Lincoln.
For the last six years, Keith has participated in a range of Diabetes UK research projects across the country. Keith works with research groups that are exploring complications related to diabetes.
Over three years, Liz participated in research supporting the early detection of cancer.

Louise participated in a 5-year Ad-Aspirin cancer treatment trial. She has also recently signed up for a longer cancer study related to a rare genetic condition.
