Lincolnshire’s general practices are working hard to assess patient’s needs and deal with them in the best way possible as quickly as possible.

In September 2021 Lincolnshire’s GP surgeries completed 388,733 appointments, 65% were face-to-face appointments (253,487) and 53% were within 24 hours of contact (207,256).

The way people access their GP practice has changed to ensure patients get the best possible care safely and quickly. We only want people to attend the practice when they need to, in order to keep patients and staff safe from coronavirus.

Adapting to the coronavirus means GP practice staff will consider how best to help you, this could mean you receive advice via an online message, over the phone, or a video consultation, or if clinically appropriate through face to face care. If you are given an appointment at the practice, there are some changes in place to protect you and others.
