Lung Cancer Screening Programme Engagement
Are you a smoker or have you smoked in the past? Are you aged between 55 and 74? Help us to shape a new Lung Cancer Screening Programme in Lincolnshire.
The NHS in Lincolnshire is preparing to launch a new Lung Cancer Screening Programme for individuals aged 55 to 74 who currently smoke or have smoked in the past. This programme is designed to assess lung health and identify those at risk of lung cancer. Those identified as at risk will be offered a scan to detect any signs of cancer. The primary aim of the programme is to catch lung cancer early, enabling quicker treatment and improving outcomes.
